It was a challenge to plan a one week trip in Norway as it is a really vast territory. If you do so it’s essential to stay realistic about the distances, due to the mountaneous landscapes, the weather variations… And you will want to stop everywhere to admire the surroundings and take pictures. Therefore, the distance travelled per day shouldn’t exceed 300 km.
Knowing this, we focused on exploring Oslo and the Sognejord.
Here are a few pictures of the amazing tiny little village of Solvorn where we spent a night. It used to be an important trading place, connecting farms in the region with the big town on the coast, Bergen. Today the village has some 250 inhabitants.
